1. Whately – Debate-mapping on the Blockchain to Solving Wicked Social Problems with Collaborative Modeling & Argumentation
Started in 2011 with Solving Wicked Social Problems with Collaborative Modeling & Argumentation (original white paper & presentation), Whately now uses blockchain technology to incentivize activity and promote effective collaboration in optimizing debate maps for simplicity and clarity. Governance of such changes is made more accurate and less onerous through the use of Liquid Democracy. Whately is how we are crowd-sourcing the comprehensively safe/moral AI motivational system for Sprouts.
2. Sprouts (formerly 50PH14) – Engineering a Safe Artificial Entity w/Human-Level Intelligence by Crowd-Sourcing Moral “Seed AI”
Started in 2012 with Safely Crowd-Sourcing Critical Mass for a Self-Improving Human-Level Learner/“Seed AI” – powerpoint / proceedings PDF from The Third Int’l Conference on Biologically Inspired Cognitive Architectures (November 2012 – Palermo, Sicily). Sprouts now uses blockchain technology to incentivize crowd-sourcing, crowd-funding, prediction markets, AI auditing and governance over the AI’s ethical system.
An update will be presented at AAAI Spring Symposium (March 2019 – Stanford, CA).
3. GAIaBC – A Governance AI and BlockChain Eco-System to Host and Fund Whately and Sprouts
Started in 2018 utilizing concepts drawn from Liquid Democracy and Liberal Radicalism, GAIaBC will be a frictionless intelligent blockchain ecosystem for Sprouts and Whately composed of a Virtual World/Model populated by Blockchain-based entities powered by SEC-compliant funding (Reg CF, Reg D and Reg A)
